Application
Bonding extensions are a popular method for long-lasting hair extensions. In this technique, the extensions
are attached directly to the natural hair using keratin bonds and heat. First, the hair is thoroughly washed
and divided into small sections. Then, the extension strands are placed about 1 cm from the hairline on fine
strands of natural hair and secured with a heat tool or ultrasound device. The melted keratin is then shaped
with the fingers to create a secure and nearly invisible bond. The process is repeated strand by strand
until the desired length and volume are achieved.
Care
Proper care of extensions is essential for their longevity and to maintain their natural appearance. Use
special extension shampoos and conditioners that are free of silicones and oils to prevent the bonds from
loosening. Wash the hair gently, avoiding washing it upside down, as this can cause tangling. To detangle
the extensions, use an extension brush with soft bristles and avoid pulling on the bonds. Always use a heat
protection spray before styling with heat. Protect the extensions at night by loosely braiding the hair or
using a silk pillowcase to reduce friction and prevent hair breakage.
