Application
Bonding extensions are a popular method for long-lasting hair extensions. In this technique, the extensions
are attached directly to your natural hair using keratin bonds and heat. First, the hair is thoroughly washed
and divided into small sections. The extension strands are then placed about 1 cm away from the scalp on fine
strands of natural hair and fixed using a heat tool or ultrasonic device. The melted keratin is shaped with the
fingers to create a secure and nearly invisible connection. This process is repeated strand by strand until the
desired length and fullness are achieved.
Care
Proper care of extensions is crucial for their durability and maintaining their natural appearance. Use special
extension shampoos and conditioners that are free from silicones and oils to prevent the bonds from loosening.
Wash the hair gently, without flipping it over your head, as this can cause tangling. To detangle, use a
soft-bristle extension brush and avoid pulling on the bonds. Always apply heat protection spray before using
hot tools. At night, protect your extensions by loosely braiding your hair or using a silk pillowcase to minimize
friction and hair breakage.
