Application
Bonding extensions are attached by working in individual strands of hair with the help of keratin bonds. These small keratin bonds are gently attached to the customers
own hair using heating clamps or an ultrasound device. One strand of your own hair is bonded to one strand of extensions, creating a natural and even look. The attachment
should be carried out by an experienced hairdresser to ensure optimum durability and a comfortable feel. Depending on the desired volume and length, the application
can take between one and three hours.
Durability
Bonding extensions offer a particularly long-lasting hair extension and last for around four to eight months, depending on hair growth and care. As your own hair grows
continuously, the bondings migrate downwards over time, which is why professional removal or lifting is required. To avoid tangles at the roots, a clean cut should be
carried out every four weeks. This involves carefully removing the natural hair that has fallen out and is stuck in the bonds, so that the hair remains well-groomed and
healthy. In addition, aggressive care products, oily shampoos and intensive heat applications to the bonds should be avoided.
